The Center for Social Well-Being and Development is pleased to announce the development of a new course at the Milken Institute School of Public Health called Public Health Approaches to Youth Violence Prevention (PubH 6599), to debut in the 2020 fall semester.

Check back for more courses and trainings aimed at applying a social-ecological perspective toward global public health problems and understanding multi-pronged approaches to achieving health, social equity, development and related rights goals. The Center offers these courses aimed at positioning Milken Institute School of Public Health graduates for success in the expanding local, national and global public health job markets, in work related to health and social disparities and determinants of health.

All CSWD courses aim to provide field-based knowledge and practical orientation, in accord with 21st century health and social challenges worldwide.
