World Food Program (WFP)
The World Food Program (WFP) is the world's largest humanitarian agency and has a dual mandate: humanitarian aid and development projects. It provides food assistance to countries during emergencies and on a long-term basis. It also provides technical assistance to promote the economic and social development of countries in need. CSWD has a Long Term Agreement to work in partnership with WFP Nutrition Division and other relevant divisions at global, regional and/or country levels to design, implement, and evaluate SBCC strategies. This includes support for WFP and partners in all phases of SBCC strategy design, implementation and evaluation, and technical assistance to governments and capacity building as required. CSWD is tasked with leading formative research and undertaking participatory design to develop high-quality SBCC strategies, guided by CSWD’s social ecological approach and relevant theory.
This is an IDIQ (indefinite quantity) contract, meaning that actual projects are conducted separately, under the overall agreement, through agreements with specific countries.
